Since the original poem was written back in the 19th century, we decided to take a modern-day approach and give you something you can find yourself.

Twas the night before Christmas,

When throughout your whole back,

You felt tingling and jabbing, and it hurt

so bad it made you hunchback!

Your jacket was hung on the doorknob with care.

But you couldn’t even get over there.

Though your family has nestled all snug in their beds,

You could not fall asleep, no matter how much you pled

You wondered how long it would last? An hour or a week?

You simply couldn’t figure out what caused it to tweak.

Why is it that nothing you do ever seems to matter,

This pain comes and goes, and your life seems to shatter.

You attempt to do like your peers and move in a flash

But you always end up needing to crash.

Your pain leaves you feeling as though there is no end in sight
